Dominant receives Environmental Certification

Dominant is now proudly certified with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. This is a certification of international standards stating that Dominant complies with all requirements of the ISO 14001 including the development, manufacture, storage and dispatch of cleaning and sanitation chemicals and personal care products.

This environmental management system is made up of a set of rules and regulations that define how our company interacts with the environment across all aspects of the business. The management system is built up of plans, processes, records, and policies that all align with Dominant business processes. As taking care for the environment is vital to our brand we follow specific guidelines and processes within our business that focus on:

This includes packaging and chemical waste recycling, reducing packaging materials by producing highly concentrated products, eliminating product spills entering the stormwater system with bunding of entire factory site, and using external waste management services.

Dominant reports to multiple government bodies on our businesses environmental impact, including the Environmental Protection Agency, National Pollution Inventory and SA Water Trade Waste Authorisation. We are also a member of the Australian Packaging Covenant which aims to reduce the harmful impact of packaging on the Australian environment.

All elements within the Environmental Management System allow Dominant to confidently maintain the highest standard of environmentally conscious processes throughout the business.
