1 - Preparation
Accurate preparation trickles down to the following steps. Follow this simple procedure for best practice:
- Check the scrap trays are clean
- Fill the machine with water
- Check that the detergent feeder is on
- Run an empty wash cycle for certainty
2 - Scrape
Is it necessary to properly scrape your dishes prior to washing them? Yes, as solid food residue can clog your dishwasher and cause it to work ineffectively or damage the machine. It's important to remove all food scraps and rinse your plate, ensuring all hard food surfaces are eliminated.
3 - Soak
What to do about hard to remove stains? You may need a kitchen appliance destainer like Dominish that works in 3 simple steps:
- Use at a ratio of 40g/10L of hot water
- Soak items for one hour
- Rinse with fresh water
Keep in mind for this step: Do not use manual dishwashing detergent.
4 - Rack
The 4 golden rules to organising a dishwasher rack:
- Rack according to size
- Plates to be placed leaning backwards
- Bowls and cups placed in an inverted manner
- Cutlery placed upright
Do not overload rack, this prevents a thorough clean and may require a second cycle.
5 - Wash
- Wash temperature at 60°C
- Rinse temperature at 82°C
- Check detergent levels
6 - Dry
Once the dishes have been through the cycle, allow them to drain and store the dry dishware in a clean area for reuse.

7 - Clean
At the end of the day:
