Our History
1952
The original Dominant Chemicals co office in Melbourne.
1958
Dominant’s first South Australian manufacturing facility 121-123 Islington Rd, Croydon Park, South Australia.
1963
The Dominant logo in 1963.
1972
207-209 Regency Road, Croydon Park was Dominant’s first sales office and lab.
1980
Dominant proudly opened our South Australian head office, factory, and research and development lab in Brompton, where we remain today. The building was officially opened by the Hon. David Tonkin, M.P., Premier of South Australia on 7th February 1980.
1983
The Dominant logo in 1983.
1996
Dominant received the certification for ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
2005
Dominant received HACCP and GMP certifications.
2018
Dominant opened new distribution centre in Brompton on 23rd November 2018. The facility was officially opened by Mr David Pisoni MP, Minister for Industry and Skills.
2019
Dominant is proudly certified with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and the ISO 22000 Food Safety Management Certification.
2022
The launch of the Dominant brand refresh.
